ABOUT
Since its founding in 1960, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has grown to become one of Thailand’s leading universities in science and engineering. Today, the Institute comprises 12 faculties, offering Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degree programs in diverse disciplines in science, engineering, information technology, and management. Internationally well-known for its research and innovation, the Institute is particularly proud of offering excellent academic standards combined with extensive facilities. Each faculty boasts specialized research centers and laboratories for cutting-edge research in various fields. As one of the largest science and engineering oriented universities in the country, KMITL has its main campus in Bangkok, conveniently located close to the main international airport of the country, and a large countryside campus in Chumphon, a seaside province in the south of Thailand.
KINDS OF SCHOLARSHIPS
1.INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The International College Undergraduate Scholarship for International Students is awarded to selected new non-Thai undergraduate students every year. The scholarship provides financial aid in the form of tuition exemption throughout the entire study period in an undergraduate program at the International College.
Duration: entire normal study period at the International College, KMITL (excluding the semester(s) during an approved leave of absence)
Number of awards: 1 - 2 for each undergraduate program (to be confirmed in each year)

Full tuition fee
Eligibility:
The applicant must hold a nationality other than Thai.
The applicant has been admitted into an undergraduate program at the International College and is beginning his/her study in the upcoming academic year.
The applicant has completed or is expected to complete high-school/secondary-school education with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
Conditions:
The awardee must maintain the grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.50 in every semester during their study period.
In every semester, the awardee is required to do volunteer works which benefit the university or the International College for at least 40 hours/semester and, at the end of the semester, submit a brief report to the scholarship committee summarizing the volunteer works carried out in that semester.

2. INTERNATIONAL SOLLGE GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
The International College Graduate Scholarship is awarded to selected new graduate students every year. The scholarship provides financial aid in the form of tuition exemption throughout the entire study period in a graduate program at the International College.
Duration: entire normal study period at the International College, KMITL (excluding the semester(s) during an approved leave of absence)
Number of awards: 1 - 2 for each graduate program (to be confirmed in each year)

Eligibility:
For the applicant of a Masters program:
The applicant has been admitted into a Masters degree program or a 4 + 1 combined Bachelor-Masters program at the International College and is beginning his/her study at the Masters level in the upcoming academic year.
The applicant is choosing Plan A (research pathway) in his/her Masters study.
The applicant has graduated or is expected to graduate from a Bachelor degree program with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
For the applicant of a doctoral program:
The applicant has been admitted into a doctoral degree program at the International College and is beginning his/her study at the doctoral level in the upcoming academic year.
The applicant has graduated or is expected to graduate EITHER from a Masters degree program with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent) OR from a Bachelor degree program (but has not begun a graduate study) with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
Conditions:
The awardee must maintain the grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 in every semester during their study period.
In every semester, the awardee is required to do research or work as a teaching assistant or a research assistant at the International College for at least 20 hours/week in each normal semester (excluding the semester(s) during an approved leave of absence). At the end of each semester, the awardee is required to submit a brief report to the scholarship committee summarizing the works carried out in the semester.
