ABOUT
UCL Institute of Education (IOE) is a world-leading centre for research and teaching in education and social science.
Ranked number one for education worldwide in the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 QS World University Rankings, the IOE was awarded the 2015 Queen’s Anniversary Prize.We are delighted to be partners with International Students House (ISH) in these awards: the IOE - International Students House Centenary Scholarship, and the Mary Trevelyan Centenary Scholarship (in honour of the founder of ISH).
BENEFITS
ISH provides accommodation, while the IOE covers tuition fees. Please note that this scholarship does not cover subsistence in London, travel or any other costs. The scholarship is tenable for three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates should:
be citizens and residents of a low or lower-middle income country (as per World Bank website)
have an offer to study a full time PhD degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2018 start)
not have studied or lived in the UK before.
Please note the online PhD, EdD and the Educational Psychology (Professional Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology) DEdPsy are not eligible for this scholarship.
