ABOUT
One of the first Architecture Schools in Italy (established in 1926), the Università Iuav di Venezia is a ‘themed’ university totally focusing on design. It is a dedicated place for teaching, specialisation, and field research in design of living spaces and environments — such as buildings, cities, landscapes, and territory —, as well as in the design of every-day use objects, fashion, graphics, and cultural, theatrical, multimedia events.

BENEFITS
Università Iuav di Venezia, in the mainframe of “Study@Iuav” program, offers n. 6 scholarships of € 5,000.00 (minus the scholarship taxes owed to the Italian state, € 4,575.00 net) and 30 tuition fee waivers for high-achieving international students enrolling in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in the academic year 2018/19.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
Candidates must fill in the form with their personal data, study background details, and check an option betwee one of the Iuav BA or MA courses. Candidates must attach: - a pdf copy of ID card or passport; - Curriculum Vitae; - to enrol in a Bachelor’s degree course: 1) Pdf copy of high school diploma or high school mark sheet; 2) Declaration of value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or an ENIC-NARIC certificate attesting the qualification of the candidate or an Italian translation of the diploma sub 1); 3) certificate of the National Higher Education Entrance Examination, if compulsory for eligibility to undergraduate programs in the country where the candidate have studied; 4) eventual proof of Italian language knowledge. - to enrol in a Master’s degree course: 1) Pdf copy of the BA degree and trascript of records; 2) Declaration of value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or an ENIC-NARIC certificate attesting the qualification of the candidate or an Italian translation of the diploma sub 1); 3) certificate of the National Higher Education Entrance Examination, if compulsory for eligibility to undergraduate programs in the country where the candidate have studied; 4) eventual proof of Italian language knowledge.
SELECTION OF BENEFICIARIES
1.Beneficiaries of “Study@Iuav” actions will be selected by a commission nominated by the Rector. This commission will prepare two different candidates’ rankings: one for scholarships and the other one for tuition fee waivers.
2. Both candidates’ rankings will be prepared considering these criteria: - up to 50 pt for the CV and background of studies; - up to 25 pt for candidates with status of refugee or as person who otherwise need international protection or as national of one of the developing countries identified as such by the Italian government (decree no. 1455 of 09/06/2017 issued by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research); - up to 25 pt in case of an Italian language certification.
3. These rankings will be pubblished by the 16th october 2018.
