ABOUT
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese universities as Undergraduate Students. These are those who are enrolled in an undergraduate course at a university, or who are receiving preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects prior to placement at the university.

Step 1 These are the documents you need to apply for the MEXT scholarship;
1. Application Form
2. Transcript(s)
3. Certificate(s)
4. Recommendation letter
5. Medical certificate
Step 2 Visit your local Japanese embassy's website. If you don't have it, click this link: https://lnkd.in/g-U67anM
Step 3 There are guidelines you must follow. Click on this link to get them (print a copy and keep it handy so you always recheck it) https://lnkd.in/g8rAZgH6
Step 4 Get the application form on this link and fill it up (make sure you take a clear passport size photograph and attach it to it)
Step 5 You need a health certificate (make sure you take it to a legit hospital and doctor to fill it up). This is the link to it
