These are fully funded scholarship programs for international students who wish to study in Japan done through its Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The programs include:

1. MEXT Young Leaders’ Program (YLP)

-School of Government

-Business Administration

-Law

-Local Governance

-Medical Administration

2. MEXT Research Students Program

Applicant should apply for the field of study he/she studied at the previous university or any related field

3. MEXT Teacher Training Students

Applicants should be University or teacher training college graduates who have over 5 years of experience in their home countries.

4. MEXT Undergraduate Program

Applicants must have completed 12 years of school education and must have the qualifications deemed to be suitable for enrollment in a Japanese university at the time of application

6. MEXT Specialized Training College Programs

Fields of Study include Technology, Personal Care and Nutrition, Education and Welfare, Fashion and Home Economics, etc.

7. MEXT Japanese Studies Program

Fields of Study include Japanese Studies (Japanese Language, Affairs and Culture)
